Menslink Great Walk: Walking with Purpose
The Menslink Great Walk is an annual, multi-day fundraising adventure that challenges Canberra’s business and communities leaders to trek the Canberra Centenary Trail. Covering a grueling 142 kilometres over five days, this epic journey requires participants to tackle up to 35 kilometres each day.
Every participating leader commits to raising a minimum of $10,000. These critical funds go directly to Menslink to support young men in the Canberra community through free mentoring, counselling, and school-based programs.
Behind the Lens: Documenting the Journey.
We had the incredible privilege of tagging along to capture, document and bring the Menslink Great Walk experience to life. We captured the early morning start at Parliament House, the beautiful terrain of the Centenary Trail and the emotional, powerful stories shared by the walkers and the families who rely on Menslink’s services.
The production was a massive workout! Keeping up with a bunch of determined walkers while carrying camera gear meant we had to move fast just to stay ahead of the pack.
Our ultimate goal was to create a compelling visual story that will continue to encourage others to lace up their boots.
